His Excellency, Alhaji Ibrahim Kabir Masari, Special Adviser to the President on Political and Other Matters, on Saturday represented His Excellency, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, at a high-level political engagement between the Executive Governor of Jigawa State, His Excellency Malam Umar A. Namadi, FCA, and the Jigawa State Academic Forum.

Held at the Banquet Hall of the Government House, Dutse, the engagement brought together more than 1,000 academics from 48 tertiary institutions across Jigawa State and beyond.
Representing the President at the forum, Alhaji Ibrahim Kabir Masari participated in the interactive session and conveyed a special message from President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, to Governor Umar A. Namadi, FCA, whom the President described as his “Dan Amanar Gwamna.”
The Jigawa State Academic Forum also expressed its endorsement of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, for re-election in 2027 and Governor Umar A. Namadi, FCA, for re-election as Governor of Jigawa State in 2027.
The forum discussed issues relating to governance, education, research, human capital development, political development and other matters of importance to Jigawa State and Nigeria.
Also in attendance were Dr. Muttaka Rabe Darma, Honourable Minister of Housing and Urban Development;Proff Suwaiba Said Ahmed Minister of state For education; Prof. Shuaibu Shehu Aliyu, Executive Secretary of the Petroleum Technology Development Fund (PTDF); Hon. Jabiru Salisu Stauri, Coordinator of NEPAD; the Speaker of the Jigawa State House of Assembly; and other senior government officials, academics and stakeholders.
The participation of Alhaji Ibrahim Kabir Masari, both as the President’s representative and as Special Adviser to the President on Political and Other Matters, underscores the importance attached to sustained engagement with academic and other strategic stakeholders.
