The All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship candidate in Gombe State, Dr Jamil Isyaku Gwamna, has distanced himself from a viral video and audio purportedly linking him with support for former Vice President Atiku Abubakar.
Gwamna, through his political engagements and public position, has continued to identify with the APC and reaffirm his support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the party’s programmes ahead of the 2027 general elections. His campaign has also publicly called on Gombe residents to support Tinubu and other APC candidates.
The APC candidate expressed appreciation to President Tinubu for his support and leadership, stressing the need for party members and supporters to remain focused on the development agenda of the administration.
He also reaffirmed his commitment to the APC and the political direction of the party in Gombe State, urging supporters not to be distracted by videos, audios or narratives capable of creating confusion.
Gwamna said he would remain steadfast in his political commitments while focusing on his “Gombe Above All” message and an issues-based campaign centred on development, unity and the welfare of the people.
