The Dauda Lawal Engagement and Sensitization Forum, a grassroots platform dedicated to promoting good governance, peace, and development in Zamfara State, has formally endorsed *His Excellency, Governor Dauda Lawal CFR*, for a second term in office, and *His Excellency, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR*, for re-election in the 2027 general elections.

After a comprehensive review of the performance of both leaders, the Forum resolved that continuity is critical to consolidating the gains recorded in Zamfara State and at the national level.
The Forum notes with appreciation that in just three years, Governor Dauda Lawal has demonstrated purposeful leadership through prudent management of resources, transparency, and a people-centered approach to governance. Despite inheriting over two decades of security challenges, his administration has delivered tangible development across the *14 Local Government Areas* of Zamfara State.
Key achievements highlighted by the Forum include:
– *Aviation & Infrastructure*: The completion and full operationalization of the Zamfara State Airport within the first term of office. This landmark project has positioned Zamfara as one of the emerging aviation hubs in the country, opening the state to commerce, investment, and connectivity.
– *Health Sector Transformation*: The unprecedented upgrade of the *Yariman Bakura Specialist Hospital, Gusau*, and other General Hospitals across the state. These facilities have been renovated, equipped with modern medical equipment, and staffed to ensure quality and affordable healthcare for the people of Zamfara.
– *Road Infrastructure*: Massive road construction and rehabilitation projects spanning all 14 LGAs. The improved road network has eased movement of people and goods, boosted agriculture, and linked rural communities to urban centers.
– *Security and Welfare*: While acknowledging the persistent security challenges, the Forum commended the administration’s commitment to supporting security agencies and providing welfare interventions to cushion the effects on affected communities.
“It is glaring, even to the blind, that Governor Dauda Lawal has laid a foundation for a new Zamfara. For the sake of continuity, consolidation, and the welfare of our people, we stand firmly with him for a second term,” the Forum stated.
The Forum also passed a vote of confidence in *President Bola Ahmed Tinubu* for his bold economic reforms, national security strategy, and commitment to federal projects that directly impact Zamfara State. The Forum believes that aligning Zamfara with the Renewed Hope Agenda at the federal level will accelerate development and attract more federal presence to the state.
As part of its mandate, the Dauda Lawal Engagement and Sensitization Forum has commenced an intensive *sensitization and voter engagement campaign* across all 14 Local Government Areas of Zamfara State.
To drive this effort, the Forum has inaugurated *Ward Coordinators* and *Polling Unit Coordinators* to mobilize citizens, enlighten voters on the achievements of the administration, and ensure massive turnout and votes for both Governor Dauda Lawal and President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in 2027.
The Forum commends the resilience and gallantry of our security forces in tackling insecurity across Zamfara State. We equally salute the courage and unwavering support of the good people of Zamfara who, despite challenges, have remained steadfast behind the administration of Governor Dauda Lawal.
We call on all stakeholders, traditional rulers, religious leaders, youth groups, and women organizations to join hands with us in building a safer, healthier, and more prosperous Zamfara state and Nigeria in general.
